(All Natural!) Homemade Paleo & Keto Slushie

Absolutely refreshing and a breeze to whip up, this instant keto slushie is a wonderful summer treat that's completely sugar free! All natural, without any artificial colorings (or flavorings!).

Ingredients

For the blue syrup

1/3 cup water
1/4 teaspoon blue spirulina
2-4 tablespoons sugar free syrup to taste*
1/4-3/4 teaspoon vitamin C powder to taste**

For the red syrup

1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon raspberry powder or fruit juice of choice
2-3 tablespoons sugar free syrup
1/4 teaspoon vitamin C powder

For the keto slushie

3 cups shaved ice

Instructions

Make the syrups by mixing all the ingredients together, starting with the lower amounts of sweetener and vitamin C powder. Please note that you'll want to make the syrups very flavor dense (i.e. a lot sweeter!), so that they actually flavor your shaved ice!
Make shaved ice by running ice cubes in a blender, food processor or bullet. Transfer to serving glasses right away, pour in the syrups and enjoy!
And if you've got an ice cream maker on hand, you can just add 3 1/2 cups water along the syrup there and churn for 5-15 minutes. That will give you the ultimate store-bought texture!

Notes

*You can pretty much use whatever floats your bloat guys! Though, ideally, something that readily dissolves in water (i.e. not granular erythritol)!

**The vitamin C powder is ideal to give that 'artificial candy flavor', and you can adjust it to taste (I like mine on the sour and use 3/4 tsp). If non is at hand, feel free to use lemon juice.

Please note that nutrition facts will vary a lot depending on whether you use the powders or actual fruit juice. When I ran them, everything came out as zero carbs with the spirulina (!!)... but I'm estimating roughly 1g net with the red fruit powders!
